I'm not a writer. I read about a million blogs online dealing with infertility, adoption, etc. and I feel like this may be a great way to join the community of women dealing with such tough issues. It may also serve as a kind of therapy, which I believe I am in great need of...so does my husband, God bless him.
A brief history: We didn't struggle for long with the decision to adopt. We didn't pursue any real fertility treatment because we were told it wasn't likely to be successful. I truly felt led to adopt, like our baby is out there for us somewhere. However, this waiting is just about killing me. I'm a total control freak, and I have serious issues with sitting here waiting on people to find our baby and create a family for us. It's not their life; the people who run the adoption system, I have found, are quite flighty and SLOW. It's a painful process. I used to be terrified of child birth, and now I would welcome that pain if it meant this emotional mess would be over.
I swear not all of my posts will be this bleak...hopefully :)

I want you to know i totally agree wtih you and am thinking of setting up a blog also. DH and I have been officially waiting for just over 3 months. We did all of the infertility stuff also, and were unsuccessful. We are also adopting domestically and I find it so frustrating to have NO control over teh process. I call the agency and they say how busy they have been, yet.....our phone still has not rung!!!!! URG!!!!
Hang in there! And let me know if you start a blog! I'll link you and you can link me:)
I did start a blog, thanks to you. I am still trying to figure out how the whole thing works but here is the url, and maybe you can do it that way

Hope that works
how do i link you? I haven't figured out how to show other blogs i view? I saw you did it for me but i don't know how to do it. I am blog challenged :)
Lani,
I think you go under "customize" and then "add a page element." From there, click "link list" and enter the blogs you want to link. Let me know if that doesn't work. Good luck:)
