Most importantly, my wonderful, beautiful blog pal GLouise has just become a mommy. She and her husband have just adopted lovely little Elizabeth. Please go over and wish her congrats; they are going to be wonderful parents, and they have waited and prayed for this little girl for so long.
Next, my silly little Lily has ROLLED OVER!!! She did it three times in her crib yesterday. Isn't it funny the things that fill your heart with joy? You would've thought she cured cancer with the way we were going on and on about it. She's just brilliant! :) The following are two pictures that we took right before the momentous event took place:)

Lastly, I scheduled our final post-placement visit this morning. On Sept. 28th, we will meet with the social worker for the final time. Just one more step toward finalization. Things are pretty sunshine-y this morning!

YAY LILY!!
Yes, it IS silly how we get all excited about the smallest things. But heck, that is what being a parent is all about.
Glad to hear you are one step closer to finalization. It was a bigger deal to me than I had anticipated. I hope it holds the same joys for you.
Yipppee!! She's too cute for words. Her face looks almost mischeivious like "Ha. Ha Mommy, look what I did."
Your little one is adorable!!!!! Congratulations!!!
She looks proud!
Her grin in that second photo is priceless!
Your final visit is a great milestone too!
she's rolling?? OH how cute! She is just so adorable, and it makes me smile everytime I see her picture ;)
ah mobility--she will never be where you last left her ever again. She'll ease you into it--first a little rolling, then a little scooting...you'll hardly notice! TOO CUTE!
Hi there! I randomly stumbled on to your blog by clicking on comments this evening. What a beautiful daughter you have!
Oh excitement of the "little things" is what makes parenting the best thing EVER! Bask in each moment because pretty soon it will be crawling, then walking, then....:-)
