Sad to say, but there is nothing much new at our house!! Soooo...instead of a fun-filled post, I'm going to leave a few new pics of my girl. She's growing like crazy!!! :) And we wanted to go get her a bumbo seat because she wants to sit up SO bad...but her legs are too chubby to fit. We laughed so hard. :) The box says they fit babies up to 12 months...what do they know!!
Since there's nothing much to comment on here, (other than my daughter's incredible, matchless beauty! :) why don't YOU leave me an update on you in the comment section. What's new? How are things? Fill me in! :)

Oh. My. Stars. I am so in love with her! She's precious! :)
Seriously, she is darling. I love the dress in the second picture--too sweet!! We found that the boppy works pretty well as a prop--bumbo weren't all the rage a mere 18 months ago!!
As for an update, MAM's about 90% potty trained, and I am on the never-ending school trip from you-know-where. (seriously, a week long, off-location event)
She's adorable!
As for me, I've been having a self pity sort of day, but it will pass.
yes.. matchless beauty it is indeed!
No update here... just waiting and waiting...
did I mention that nasty waiting thing?
Agh... as always she is so beautiful!! And I can't believe she doesn't fit!!!! So cute.
We had our first homestudy visit yesterday, and the last one on Monday!!! WOO HOOO :-)
Hey! What a sweet thang! :) Where did you get the little cute gree nbow. I started making my own for my daughter.
That chair does not fit Stillababy's thigh's either lol
Things are good in my corner of the world!
Update on us? Just beginning the adoption process...getting huge packets of info from agencies and trying to figure out how the heck to 1) pick an agency and 2) get through the mountain of paperwork without going nuts!
The Cuteness is overwhelming!!
Our son's mom is having another baby, and that's been occupying my thoughts quite a bit lately. Otherwise, normal family day to day life! Enjoying the end of summer as much as we can!
She is just beautiful!!! God is so good!
Annsley is getting ready to celebrate her 6 month birthday! I sent some pictures to the most recent email address that I have for you. I hope it is still current and you get them.
Laurie
What a gorgeous baby!!
You know what I am up to these days! ahh!!! suspense!!
Hi, I read you and comment on you. Your blog is such an inspiration to me as I start this path. I am going to a password protected blog, if you want to read, please email me at anmaha@gmail.com and I'll give you the password.
SHE IS SO CUTE!
The bebe pod works good...have you tried that one? It seems a bit wider, imo.
As for us, nothing much going on. Started working with the lawyer to get finalization stuff underway (we're elligible in late Nov, but court will take a bit to get into). Ava is growing like a weed and got baptized today and Rachel was able to make it!! It wasn't without it's craziness in the planning (well, and the execution) but it was fun.
BabyP is doing well as far as I can tell...the doppler sounds good still and I'm getting kicked a lot. :)
Hi!
I have been following your blog every since you were matched with Lily. You have a beautiful daughter!
I wanted to invite you to read my blog. I just started one (finally). It is going to be about my adopted son. He's 4.5 months old now.
So far I have begun writing my adoption story from the VERY beginning.
I hope you enjoy reading about my life, as I have enjoyed reading about yours. :-)
I just wanted you to know that sometimes I look at your blog (even when you don't have a new post) bc your sweet baby girl gives me so much hope it's unreal... knowing that hopefully soon I will have a beautiful baby and the light that you have shed on adoption is amazing..
Thank you so much for your blog!!! You have no idea how much it has helped/inspired/encouraged some of us!!
I just found your blog and read the whole thing from start to finish in one go! You've been through quite a whirlwind in the past year. DH and I are waiting for our match with a local agency - I love reading about happy endings like yours.
I adore your crib bedding. Can you tell me where you bought it and the brand/style?
Thanks!
Traci
I am so glad to read updates on you all! And thank you, thank you for all the sweet words of encouragement! I can't tell you how much it means!!
Also, Traci, thanks for reading AND our crib bedding is African Plains by Brandee Danielle. It's discontinued, but you can get it at babysupermall.com That's what we did. It's great because it's very gender neutral. You can play up the animals for a boy and the flowers for a girl.
Thank you all, again, for reading and for being such good blog pals! :)
She's absolutely beautiful!
I have a friend who adopted that said she doesn't have to feel guilty about saying what a cutie her daughter is because she didn't make her, so it can't be construed as vanity!
My husband and I are in the early stages of pursuing adoption, so I'm happy to find some adoption blogs to read as well as my old friends in infertility!
